With an extensive legal career spanning criminal law, family law, domestic violence, estates, migration, commercial, property, and civil litigation, Sam has developed a broad and deep legal practice. Over the past decade, his focus has shifted primarily to litigation, particularly in the areas of administrative, constitutional, and human rights law.
Many of the cases he has worked on have become seminal decisions, some of which are now studied in Australian university law schools. Sam has appeared in matters ranging from tribunals to State and Federal Courts, and even the High Court of Australia.
Sam has served as the Principal of Alexander Law since 1 July 2007. In addition to legal qualifications, he also holds a degree in Engineering and brings 13 years of experience in engineering, including the design, contracts, and regulation of major defence projects for the Australian Defence Force and telecommunications infrastructure projects. This technical background complements his legal expertise, allowing for a uniquely analytical and practical approach to solving complex client problems.
